Privacy
Dev Scenario is local-first. It runs on your machine, talks to your devices, and writes its configuration to your home directory. Your projects, flows and devices stay on your machine, and no account is required to use the platform.
The platform
Dev Scenario reads and writes only the directories it explicitly tells you about. Network traffic only leaves your computer when you explicitly use capabilities that call third-party services (Firebase, Crashlytics, etc.) and only with credentials you provide.
Usage analytics
The app sends anonymous usage events, such as a run started or finished, the inspector opened or a plugin turned on, with the app version, operating system and the list of enabled plugins. They carry a random id, never your projects, flows, names, devices, URLs or file paths. They're on by default and you can turn them off in Settings › Privacy; nothing is sent before the app has told you about them.
Crash reports
When the app hits an unexpected error it sends the error, its stack trace, the app version and operating system to EU servers, with no personal data. Turn it off in Settings › Privacy.
Updates and remote settings
The app checks for updates and for remote settings, sending an anonymous id, the app version, operating system, installed plugin versions and whether it runs on a trial or a license (with the days left), never who the license belongs to.
